It is located in Yangming Technology Industrial Park, Yuyao City, Zhejiang province, covering an area of more than 200,000©O,with construction area 120,000©O. The number of employee reaches to 1800. It was founded in August,1984. The first piece of Chinese-made steel tape measure with double color coating according to international standard was produced in the company. Now the company¡¯s products are over 140 series, 1000 specifications and sizes, including adjustable wrench, spirit level, laser spirit level, steel square, steel ruler, fiberglass tape measure, hex key, various of pliers, utility knife, screwdriver, tool kit and other hardware tools. The production capacity of steel tape measure ranks the No. 1 in Asia with its annual output up to one hundred and sixty million meters. The output of adjustable wrench and spirit level reaches 6 million and 5 million pieces respectively, and the volume is among the top ones in China.
The company is equipped with advanced facilities and technology. We have introduced the most advanced steel tape coating equipment, UV exposure technology from Japan and a whole series of metal procession and heating treatment machines from Taiwan. Automatic tape blade making machine, vial cutting machine and fluid filling machine have also imported from Taiwan and Korea. They help to produce high quality Great Wall branded hardware tools and measuring products.
The Great Wall Branded measuring tool products were rewarded as The Excellent Product in Zhejiang in 1986 and The Premium Product by Light Industrial Ministry of China in 1987. Then in 1991, it got the only one gold medal awarded by Chinese National Quality Recognition Committee --- National Gold Prize.
