Shandong Shida Shenghua Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in Dongying, which is the central city on the Yellow River Delta. It is also the base of China¡¯s second largest oilfield¡ªShengli Oilfield. Our company is one of the backbone enterprises belonging to the University of Petroleum, which is one of the key universities under direct supervision of China¡¯s Ministry of Education. The corporation has an area of about 54,000 square meters and its fixed assets has reached 8 million US dollars. There are 120 personne. The Dimethyl Carbonate Project is to be completed soon and is expected to be put into production in April 2003 with 10000 tons of dimethyl carbonate and 8000 tons of propylene glycol per year. The project has introduced the most advanced technology within the country and the main part of the equipment is made of stainless steel. The automatic control system DCS is adopted to ensure high quality product.
